Quetiapine (trade name Seroquel) is an antipsychotic drug for the treatment of schizophrenia, depression and bipolar disorder, with sedative properties. It was developed in 1985 and approved for medical use and is more effective than Haloperidol.<\/div>\n
Quetiapine has been used as an adjunct in the treatment of Tourette syndrome.<\/div>\n
Quetiapine is the most widely used drug for the treatment of psychosis in Parkinson\u2019s disease, due to the low probability of side effects.<\/div>\n

When taking quetiapine, the peak level of quetiapine occurs approximately 1.5 hours after administration, and the half-life of quetiapine is 6 or 7 hours.<\/div>\n
